4 Bar all operator calls
5 Bar calls to numbers with a * or # in them (includes some Calling Features, but allows you to cancel this option)

* For customers on certain exchanges, this option will also bar premium rate services.

Call Diversion

Call Diversion lets you divert calls to another phone number. So whether you're out of the office or just away from your desk, Call Diversion means you don't miss out on important calls.

Call Sign

We'll give you an additional number for your phone, which will have a separate ringing tone when it is called. Who you give your Call Sign number to is down to you. It could be your youngster's friends, so you always know if a call is for them.

It could just as easily be an elderly relative, so you immediately know it's them when the phone rings. You can also use it to separate business calls or calls from fax machines.

Call Waiting

A stuttered dial tone lets you know when another caller is waiting to speak to you.

Switching on * 43 #
Speaking to your 2nd caller Recall
Returning to your 1st caller Recall

Switching off # 43 #

* Call Waiting is not compatible with Ring Back.

Caller Display

Caller Display allows you to see the number of the person calling. Caller Display cannot disclose the number if the number is withheld or unavailable. If your phone doesn't have a compatible screen, you'll need a Caller Display Unit, which you can buy from BT and other suppliers.

If you permanently withold your phone number, you can release it on a 'per call' basis by dialling 1470 before dialling the number you want to call.

Anonymous Call Rejection

If a caller withholds their number so that you can't tell what number they're calling from, they will not be able to get through to you. They will only be able to get through if they reveal their number. Anonymous Call Rejection will not bar incoming calls where it delivers the message 'unavailable'.

Choose to Refuse

If you frequently receive unwanted or nuisance calls from a particular number, you can block that number from getting through to you. This ensures your peace of mind and, if later on you change your mind, you can lift the block and allow the caller to contact you once again.

(You can block upto 10 numbers)

To block the last call you answered 14258 PIN **b
Adding to your list of blocked numbers 14258 Phone number #

* Callers who have had their call rejected will hear an announcement stating that their calls are not being accepted.

BT answer (1571)

BT answer 1571 helps to ensure that you don't miss a call - whether you're away from home or engaged on the phone or internet.

You'll know there's a message waiting for you because you'll hear an interrupted dial tone when you next pick up the phone. To retrieve your messages simply dial 1571.

- Records messages up to 2 minutes long
- Stores up to 10 messages at a time
- Keeps messages for 20 days
- Alerts you of new messages with an interrupted dial tone

Call Return (1471)

1471 Call Return service tells you the last number that called - unless the caller witheld their number by dialling 141 before dialling your number, or the call came from a switchboard extension number.

1471 Call Return also lets you return the call straight away, by simply pressing 3.

If you don't want your number to be obtained through Caller Display or Call Return (1471), dial 141 before making your call.

Reminder Call

Reminder Call acts like an alarm clock, except it lets you book alarm calls days in advance.

Maybe you need a repeat reminder every day, or perhaps you need a one off call to remind you to pick up the dry cleaning. You push a couple of buttons to activate the service and then enter the time and date you want to be reminded. Amending a Reminder Call is just as easy.
